چکیده

We study the relations among parameters of hybrid Lagrangian bias expansion model, fitting biased auto and cross power spectra up to $k_{\rm max} = 0.7 \, h \mathrm{Mpc}^{-1}$. consider $\sim 8000$ halo galaxy samples, with different masses, redshifts, number densities, varying formation model. Galaxy samples are obtained through state-of-the-art extended subhalo abundance matching techniques include both stellar-mass star-formation-rate selected galaxies. All these synthetic galaxies publicly available at https://bacco.dipc.org/galpk.html. find that model provides accurate fits all our samples. The coevolution between parameters, although roughly compatible those for haloes, show systematic shifts larger scatter. explore possible sources this difference in terms dependence on occupation assembly each sample. parameter displayed work can be used as a prior future Bayesian analyses employing

Chemodynamical Modelling of Galaxy Formation and Evolution

Abstract. We present our recently developed 3-dimensional chemodynamical code for galaxy evolution. This code follows the evolution of different galactic components like stars, dark matter and different components of the interstellar medium (ISM), i.e. a diffuse gaseous phase and the molecular clouds. Stars and dark matter are treated as collisionless N-body systems. The ISM is numerically desc...

Galaxy modelling II . Multi - wavelength faint counts from a semi - analytic model of galaxy formation

This paper predicts self-consistent faint galaxy counts from the UV to the submm wavelength range. The stardust spectral energy distributions described in Devriendt et al. (1999) (Paper I) are embedded within the explicit cosmological framework of a simple semi-analytic model of galaxy formation and evolution. We begin with a description of the non-dissipative and dissipative collapses of primo...

Time Evolution of Galaxy Formation and Bias in Cosmological Simulations

The clustering of galaxies relative to the underlying mass distribution declines with cosmic time for three reasons. First, nonlinear peaks become less rare events as the density field evolves. Second, the densest regions stop forming new galaxies because their gas becomes too hot to cool and collapse. Third, after galaxies form, they are subject to the same gravitational forces as the dark mat...

Stochasticity of Bias and Nonlocality of Galaxy Formation: Linear Scales

If one wants to represent the galaxy number density at some point in terms of only the mass density at the same point, there appears the stochasticity in such a relation, which is referred to as “stochastic bias”. The stochasticity is there because the galaxy number density is not merely a local function of a mass density field, but it is a nonlocal functional, instead. Thus, the phenomenologic...

Nonlocal Lagrangian bias

Halos are biased tracers of the dark matter distribution. It is often assumed that the initial patches from which halos formed are locally biased with respect to the initial fluctuation field, meaning that the halo-patch fluctuation field can be written as a Taylor series in the dark matter density fluctuation field. If quantities other than the local density influence halo formation, then this...
